Families CAN be together FoREVER~

You may ask why I post this...I'll just say that this is a reminder to me and my family that we are sealed for eternity. We may be broken and hurt...but we are eternal and have work to do! So do it! Each of us! Individually and as a whole!
I'm so grateful for each one of you! How blessed we are! Dad & I have existed for each of you for the past 30 some odd years and would walk through fire for any one of you...do you get it? Do you understand our full desire and wish for each of you as a whole and individually? Do you know what's in our hearts? Do you care enough to act on it? I pray that you do. If your wonderin what's in our hearts...just ask. Love each of you to the moon & back a trillion, billion times!

PAYSON turns 7! WahOO~

Payson invited his family and one good friend, Adam to celebrate with him at Pirates Pizza in Orem, by the University Mall. What a cute place! Brand new with employees all playing the part! It was a great way for a young boy to celebrate his 7th birtday. Seems like we were just at the hospital with this little angel of ours! Can't believe how fast this is all going...twice as fast as the growth of our kids!
Payson is so much fun and still my little buddy! I hope that will remain forever!
He's ALL Boys and loves to ride his scooter, bike, or skate boards. When he stays at our house, he really likes playing with the Meyer kids down the street at the end of the circle. He DOESN'T like it when Grampa teases him that Miley is his girlfriend!
He loves to jump on the tramp with gramma and play ball of most any kind. He's accepted the fact the boys aren't around to play with him as much as they use to be, but he's satisfied to have his ol gramps and gramma to fill in! He LOVEs sleep overs, especially on the tramp. It's a sad day when the cool weather puts a stop to that treat! Gramma usually bunks with he and Talan if he joins the sleep over. Not too long before the three of us will not fit on the futon!
Payson loves movies and staying up late...much to Mom & Dad's dismay. They get the fallout of the "tired" boy when he returns to the homefront...sorry...that's our job, to play hard and spoil....then he's all yours!
Payson has a sweet personality where he's concerned about your feelings. He's very aware of one that is sad and will run up to give a hug to make it better..thanks bud! You have NO IDEA just how healing that is! He's a true athelete and will be good at whatever sport he decides he likes. He's a natural! I love the fact that he looks like us...really he's a minny Chris...so much like Chris's personality from times of ol'! :)

Mickie has gone back to work as a fill in when she can. I got to spend the day with Talan & Preslie one day when she worked. There is NOTHING that makes my heart feel happy and joyful than to spend time with my grandkids! They are pure spirits from Heaven and bring such honesty and unconditional love! What the "big people" can learn from each little one in this world!
We spent the morning just playing...we read, colored, played dominos-okay so we made a track with the dominos...gave stink bug preslie a bath, made funny faces at the camera..I think Talan took a picture of EVERYTHING in the house and I took a picture of him playing with everything he chose that day. I love these kids! And those two that weren't there. Thank you for helping my heart to feel full!

It was an honor for Mickie and Brandyn to ask Rick to bless our little Preslie. It was a special day! Grandpa blessed her to continue to grow healthy and strong, to always know of all the love that surrounds her in her family and thanked them for the honor to give her a blessing. It was a short, simple blessing where her Grandpa's emotions were closer to the surface more than he cared to let known. Many more thoughts going through Grandpa and Grandma's mind, but the emotions would not allow it. No matter..our Heavenly Father is very aware of that sweet spirit they held in that sacred priesthood circle. I'm so grateful for a strong man who loves his Father in Heaven and honor's his priesthood. How lucky my family is to have him at our Head! I hope my Children really "GET IT"! I pray that they do!

FiNAllY the front tooth falls out at our place~ Will the tooth fairy know where to land???

Payson had his two, top, inscisor teeth just hanging there for over a month. We each tried to bribe him any way we could to let Aunt Ang pull them out, have an Uncle just pop them out..anything...they looked so funny. He looked kind of like a vampire...but he wouldn't budge..
Here's his sweet smile when it finally gave and the tiny bag FULL of change for the goods...

SLeeP OOOVVER!

We LOVE having the kids over! They truly bring such pure joy into our lives! Payson & Talan stayed the night of the party and we had pumpkin day at our house. They played all day and even got to go to little Olivia's costume party for her 3rd birthday! It was fun! I forget how all boy they are until they are around little girls that don't have many boys in their lives...truely a different world! Can't wait to enjoy that world as well with Kallie and Preslie!
Our garden was covered in a beautiful pumpkin plant that took over the yard. However, it only produced a few pumpkins. These two large ones probably weigh about 50 lbs...it' was not a treat to move them to the table to paint. Our plant would get little sprouts of new pumpkins, but it was like the big ones sucked all the nutrition out of them and they would just shrivel. We have a few small ones too, but they are failing fast, going rotten and collapsing..kind of funny looking.

October 7th...HApPY BirTHdAy ANG!

the picture of Payson, & Angela, notice a blue soccer blanket as well...that's "a ghost aka Talan, & Payson singing to Angela...!

Happy 23rd Birthday Angela! We hope you had a great day!
Ang's request was for clam chowder in bread bowls on the Friday after her birthday. Her and Shawn were lucky enough to spend the WHOLE day together on her day of! I think that's awesome. Once you become a grown up...that doesn't happen that often, to have a day, in honor of you....all day long! It's great to see the two of them working so hard at building a strong eternal relationship together.
We had our family over and they invited Rey and Emily Florez over. Mike Snarr and his friend came over for a few minutes after dinner but the camera had since gone to bed--sorry Mike and .....(oh..it doesn't matter, it'll be someone else next time!) Heee hee..just kidding Mike--inside joke for those of you that think I'm just being cruel..

oops...double post! Silly me!

Conference weekend tradition..
guys go to priesthood session and us gals go shopping, then meet up with them for dinner after. We started about 430 and needed to start earlier really...SOOOO many people. Thought we would bust it out to Rod works for their door busters...sorry folks, nothing in ANY store that important to stand in line for 2 hours. Nothing! We hit the mall, quilted bear and before we knew it, the guys were calling to see if we had a table saved...SUURRE...meet us at Training table! Thank heavens we beat the crowd or we would have had some grumpy men!

Conference...

Loved Conference weekend...
Haven't had a chance to listen to all yet....LOVE DVR! But what I did hear...well, it's just proves that My Heavenly Father is aware of me & my family! Lots of words of wisdom, advice and reminder of commandments that we all needed to hear!

We started a tradition several years ago that while the boys are at the Priesthood session, us girls go shopping and we all meet up for dinner. It has become our responsibility to get a seat somewhere and beat the crowds! That's gay...cuts the shopping short! This year, Mick suggest Training table...perfect choice...not a wait at all. We all got there the same time and went straight it. Good thing, we would have been in trouble for goofing if we didn't!

Angela, Mick, Kallie, Preslie and I (Tahnie out of town with volleyball) headed off to the Mall, Rod works (with the rest of the dang valley) left there...2hr wait in line just not worth anything in the store! Then off to Quilted Bear and to dinner. So many Birthdays in the next few weeks, so not a lot of spending splurges! But found fun ideas! Had to buy Rick a Ute's tie and Kallie a cute beanie!

Conference talked a lot about loving our families. Loving and serving others. One talk on Sunday morning talked of his Mother I believe wish...."no empty seats! Oh how that applies to my heart right now! I worry for my children and the world that they live in! It's a blessing to see them choose the right, but I fear the strength of the advesary working on all of us! Sometimes...I just want to say "Bring on the Millenium! Satan bound for 1000 years.. how cool will that be!
